Essentials

Morphotonics is the leading supplier of Roll-to-Plate (R2P) nanoimprint technology solutions. Our innovative nanoimprint equipment and consumables enable micro- and nanostructures to be applied on extremely large areas in high volume production. This leads to improved products with cost advantages for our customers in the display, automotive, and other deep technology sectors. Your role

With multiple OEM systems sold, Morphotonics is now looking for a Development Engineer to develop our next generation R2P nanoimprint lithography (NIL) systems and improve our existing nanoimprint systems. You will master the principles of our nanoimprint process and will link the process output with system specifications and equipment parameters. You will drive system improvements and act as a linking-pin between system and application development. As the NIL system expert, you will work hands-on with prototype NIL systems to verify functionality and initiate solutions if specifications are not met. In this role you will work in multidisciplinary teams and with engineering partners and you need to be able to stand your ground in the areas of mechanical, electrical and software engineering as well as physics and chemistry.

Experience

  • > 5 years experience in Product and Process Development in High-Tech equipment industry;
  • Working for a technology company;
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and Application Development;
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Hands-on experience in testing of mechatronic systems;
  • Affinity with film handling using rollers, closed-loop pressure control systems and alignment using vision-based solutions;
  • Structured way of working and Project-based working skills to complete complex projects successfully;

Required educational background

  • A Master’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable study;
