SID Display Week 2026 once again brought together the global display industry to explore the technologies shaping the future of XR, AI glasses, and advanced display systems. For Morphotonics, this year’s event was centered around one key theme: scalable and cost-effective waveguide manufacturing.
Throughout the week at booth #543, the Morphotonics team connected with industry leaders, partners, and innovators to discuss the next phase of AR commercialization and the manufacturing infrastructure required to support it.

The conversation reinforced a challenge the industry increasingly recognizes: while consumer demand and AI-driven use cases continue to accelerate, manufacturing scalability remains one of the critical bottlenecks for mass adoption.
At Morphotonics, addressing this challenge is exactly what drives the development of the Cypris platform.
During the Exhibitor Forum, Erhan Ercan presented the latest developments around the Cypris platform, showcasing how scalable nanoimprint manufacturing can help enable the next generation of AR waveguides. The discussions throughout the event highlighted growing industry momentum around high-throughput, cost-effective production technologies capable of supporting large-scale deployment.
From insightful technical conversations to strong engagement at both the Morphotonics and AR Alliance booths, SID Display Week 2026 once again demonstrated how rapidly the nanoimprint ecosystem is evolving.
