Morphotonics has joined the AR Alliance, a global network of companies working to advance the development of Augmented Reality (AR) technologies through cross-industry collaboration.
As part of this expanding network, Morphotonics brings its expertise in large-area nanoimprint lithography (NIL), a technology that plays a critical role in scaling advanced optical components such as AR waveguides. By enabling high-throughput, high-precision manufacturing, NIL supports the transition from lab-scale innovation to industrial production (a key requirement for the next generation of AR devices).
Alongside Morphotonics, a strong group of industry players including Ainstec, ams-Osram, Fraunhofer ISIT, Hong Kong Highpower International Co., Infineon, Kyocera Corporation, Murata Manufacturing, Seagate, Sunny Optical Technology, and Ushio have also joined. Together, these companies, further strengthen the AR Alliance as a collaborative platform where industry leaders work to harmonize approaches for advancing, unifying, and growing the global AR supply chain as well as accelerating innovation.
Strengthening Collaboration
Joining the AR Alliance (a division of SPIE) reinforces with Morphotonics’ broader vision of enabling scalable, cost-effective manufacturing solutions for the AR industry. It also strengthens the company’s commitment to collaboration, working alongside partners across the value chain to address shared challenges and unlock new opportunities.
